🎯 What You'll Learn
You will learn to use the future tense — talking about things that have not happened yet but will happen later.
🌟 Let's Start
What will you do tomorrow? Maybe you will go to school. Maybe you will eat lunch with your family. When we talk about things that have not happened yet, we use the word will.
📚 New Concept
The future tense uses the word will before the verb to talk about things that will happen later — tomorrow, next week, or in the future.
- "I will go to school tomorrow."
- "We will eat dinner at 7 o'clock."
- "Funke will visit her grandmother next week."
- "It will rain this afternoon."
- "The teacher will give us a test on Friday."
You can also use "going to" for the future:
- "I am going to read a book tonight."
- "They are going to play football after school."
Past, Present, Future — all together:
- Past: "Yesterday, I ate rice."
- Present: "Right now, I am eating rice."
- Future: "Tomorrow, I will eat rice."
🎮 Let's Practice
- Change to future tense: "I go to the market." (tomorrow)
- Change to future tense: "She cooks dinner." (tonight)
