10 min
🎯 What You'll Learn
You will learn to ask questions using the words who, what, and where.
🌟 Let's Start
Questions help us learn new things. When Emeka wants to know something, he asks a question. "Who is that man?" "What is for dinner?" "Where is my bag?" These question words are very powerful!
📚 New Concept
Question words:
- Who — asks about a person. "Who is your teacher?" "Who cooked the food?"
- What — asks about a thing or an action. "What is your name?" "What are you doing?"
- Where — asks about a place. "Where do you live?" "Where is the market?"
Examples of questions and answers:
- "Who is your best friend?" — "My best friend is Bola."
- "What is your favourite food?" — "My favourite food is jollof rice."
- "Where is your school?" — "My school is on Broad Street."
Questions end with a question mark (?) instead of a full stop.

💡 Remember
Who asks about people. What asks about things. Where asks about places. Questions end with a question mark (?). Keep asking questions — that is how you learn!
