Three Types of Questions
- Before reading: What do I already know? What do I want to learn?
- During reading: What is happening? Why? What does this word mean?
- After reading: What was the main message? What did I learn?
Question Words
Use these to make strong questions:
- Who — asks about people
- What — asks about things or events
- Where — asks about places
- When — asks about time
- Why — asks about reasons
- How — asks about methods or processes
