Rounding Rules
- Look at the digit to the right of your rounding place
- If it's 5 or more, round up
- If it's 4 or less, round down
Examples - Rounding to Nearest 10
347 → 350 (7 is 5 or more, so round up)
342 → 340 (2 is less than 5, so round down)
Examples - Rounding to Nearest 100
2,567 → 2,600 (6 is 5 or more)
2,534 → 2,500 (3 is less than 5)
