  • Sharing: Splitting a total equally among people.

Challenge 1: ₦252 ÷ 4. Split: 240 ÷ 4 = 60, 12 ÷ 4 = 3. Answer: ₦63. Check: 4 × 63 = 252. ✓

Challenge 2: 100 ÷ 8 = ? 8 × 12 = 96. 100 − 96 = 4. Answer: 12 r 4.

Challenge 3: A farmer has 156 oranges to pack into bags of 6. 156 ÷ 6: Split: 120 ÷ 6 = 20, 36 ÷ 6 = 6. Total: 26 bags.
