To subtract two-digit numbers, subtract the ones first, then subtract the tens.
Example 1: ₦75 − ₦32. Ones: 5 − 2 = 3. Tens: 7 − 3 = 4. Answer: ₦43.
Example 2: ₦98 − ₦51. Ones: 8 − 1 = 7. Tens: 9 − 5 = 4. Answer: ₦47.
Example 3: ₦67 − ₦24. Ones: 7 − 4 = 3. Tens: 6 − 2 = 4. Answer: ₦43.
