Letter g:
- Sound: /g/ — a sound from the back of your throat: g-g-g
- Shape: Like the letter c but with a tail going down.
- Words: got, gap, gum
Letter o:
- Sound: /o/ — make your mouth round: /o/ as in on, ox
- Shape: A round circle.
- Words: on, ox, hot
Letter u:
- Sound: /u/ — a short sound: /u/ as in up, us
- Shape: A curve going down and back up, with a line on the right.
- Words: up, cup, run
All 5 vowels: a, e, i, o, u — every word needs at least one vowel!
